“It’s going to rain.”
“How can you tell?”
“The clouds are brown.”
“They’re gray.”
“Look carefully, they’re grayish brown.”
“It’s the dust.”
“I remember what mom always said…”
“What?”
“The gray ones only threaten, the brown ones pour!”
“You made that up.”
“No I didn’t.”
The first large drop splatters on my nose making me giggle.
“Let’s go before we get soaked.”
“I want to get soaked.”
“I’ll catch a cold.”
“You’re getting old!”
“Ha!”
“And you walk like a duck.”
“At least I can!”
“You’re mean.”
“And you’re just a voice in my head. Shut up!”
I quickly run indoors.
An interesting and creative story perspective. An enjoyable read Firdaus xx
Thankyou
Produces a nice epiphany at the end, but I must add that I often have similar engrossing conversations with myself.
Me too! Thankyou.
Nice play with the angel and devil on my shoulder scenario. Enjoyable read Firdaus!
