Sal and Christophe, two weary fishermen searching the Grecian coast. Precious cargo on board, Sal’s baby girl.
They hit a rock, sea water leaking into the hull. Panic rises. An island looms in the shadows, where a distant light shines on the rocky edge. A solitary figure appears.
Bat creatures save the baby, leaving the fishermen to their fate beneath the churning dark surface.
The creatures set the small child in the arms of a statue.
A silent shape emerges. Her eyes burn a myriad of fiery colors, dulling as she notices something strange. The baby is blind, and Medusa smiles.
LOVE this!! Well done, beautiful writer, Michael!:)
