“Can you make me a copy of this memo?”, the boss asks. Larry takes the memo and reads it. It’s a memo stating that all copying must be approved with the attached Memo Copy Request form. Larry briefly considers copying the memo without approval, then briefly considers getting the memo signed and dated so he can be allowed to copy it, even though it would invalidate the memo to have a pre-existing date and signature copied on every new copy of the memo. In the end, Larry just quits. The boss smiles – the Cursed Memo is much cheaper than severance packages.
