He tore from her body with the power of becoming, expanding with the Universe but held near to her by loving forces.
Both scarred from the first blast, her wounds filled with the salty tears of longing. He reached for her tears, making them roll and swell and crash upon her cheeks. This tenderness brought forth new beings singing songs of gratitude. Their songs to his beauty filled her with joy. The beings flew to him from her breast and touched him with wonder.
This is their wistful dance until the sun grows too bright, melding them back together at last.
Beautiful fantasy
Oh, nice!
Wow. Powerful, human, and so evocative, Deborah! Congratulations! Cheers ?
Love the powerful imagery here. You’re able to capture the raw power and mythical experience of birth beautifully.
Great!
Beautiful story. I love that opening line.
Nice personification parody of the Earth and the moon. Nicely done in 101 words.
