The young woman stood in the empty house. They had hardly any furniture but it was all right; they were just starting out. The rooms would eventually fill with furniture and the house with children. There was a lot of work to be done first in order to make it a home. The windows needed curtains and the floors were bare. With a sigh, she started unpacking boxes.
