Found a flaw in the plush chair and picked at it until Mom yelled at me to stop. The plush chair is in the driveway now with its bones exposed. My words won’t work in my mouth when she asks why—why do I insist on smoothing over every thing I touch.
The other day, I cut my finger and bled all over the kitchen. Mom cleaned me up, wrapped my finger in a bandage, and told me to never play with knives. That night, I found flaws in the bandage. After I picked them off, I started picking the cut.
Lots going on under the surface here.
This youngster definitely has a compulsion to smooth complex! Liked it.
Fabulous for what it says by not saying it!
