I remember when you first called me about your screen. “Come over! Come quick!” you told me.
The screen looked just like a computer. Then I saw the wires. They fell like hair from your jerry-rigged brain. You said I wouldn’t feel a thing.
“How’d you…I can’t believe you can see my thoughts, you’re reading my thoughts right now, right off the screen!”
You showed me your biography, at least that’s what you called it. I saw your dreams on the screen.
Before then I always forgot mine. My life changed that day. And I didn’t even feel a thing.
