Everyone vividly remembers that day. Like 9/11 or the Kennedy Assassination.
Some were still working in offices, some were planning for an impromptu party, and some were shopping for the weekend. But they had to drop all that in a jiffy and look for a shelter.
That was the day when the lands shook a little, and the oceans roused a lot. It changed the landscape forever. And it changed life like never before.
Everyone vividly remembers that day. And that thing in the sky constantly reminds them.
That day, Earth successfully captured a roving asteroid and got itself a new moon.
Nice. I particularly like the third paragraph. I have an image of the Earth swinging a lasso and reining in the asteroid, then ‘whooping’ with sucess. Well done.
Thank you!
Flash as it should be. Very Well Done ~!~
Thank you!
Nice, but for this to happen there needs to be some way to take energy from the asteroid. Hitting the atmosphere? Some sort of massive collision between two asteroids? Some sort of detail would be nice (I recognize 101 words is very tight).
Thank you! Another 101 story with those details is a great idea. Will work on it. 🙂
I like this story very much. It reminds me that things happen suddenly and jar reality for a moment then we adjust and go on living. Good job.
Thank you!
This is a great story. The ending is perfect. No other words are needed.
Thank you!
