The doctor emphasized, “No more bacon.”
I left the appointment with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and a wake-up call.
I pace my life like traffic lights. The green light is an actual Benjamin Moore green, color code 33a352. Green suggests energy, drive, and for me taking off like fury, but not after today.
Yellow meant hurry up, but not today. Practicing caution, listening to my doctor, I’ll shop for fresh foods with an attempt to conquer my consuming desire for bacon.
No running red lights today. Every full stop is my thank you blessing. Sure beats being dead ‘n’ buried.
NO BACON!!! Might as well be dead’n’buried… LOL!
