The light sent the boy and the girl backwards in time. When they opened their eyes, the children realized that their 19th century textbook had come to life. Wanting to go home, they pressed the orb again, only to send themselves ten thousand years back in time. Despite the otherworldly beauty around them, they hoped and begged, in tears, that the orb would still carry them home. Alas, the mysterious orb took the children one million years in the past. They realized that they could not keeping going back; Adam and Eva knew that they would become the parents of humanity.
But can they get back BEFORE the Fall? And, knowing what they know, do they decline to begin history? But, if they know what they know, they are by definition fallen… These cyclical time-traveling stories always do me in.
