Opposites Attract

Maggie is a pot farmer. Her husband ran off with his brother’s girlfriend. Art is a highway patrolman. His wife ran off with his brother’s girlfriend, too.

Their paths crossed the day Art drove out to Maggie’s farm. She was read her rights and put into the back of Art’s patrol car. The two exchanged numerous glances in the rearview mirror on the way to the station. Too bad she’s a pot head, Art thought, she’s a cutie. Too bad he’s a cop, Maggie thought, he’s a cutie.
