Kal retrieves all the way up to the gunnel. Jerking the rod tip he animates the lure.
Priscilla ferociously jigs her line non-stop. Occasionally a tear slips down her cheek at which she unceremoniously swipes.
“I’m just too old; I can’t keep up anymore,” reasons Kal without diversion from his bait.
In agitation Priscilla continues to jig and weep.
“I wish you’d say something, so I’d know you understand,” pleads Kal pursuing the woman’s endorsing acceptance of his plight.
Priscilla tetchily remains unresponsive.
“Jesus Christ girl, give me something,” begs the forlorn fisherman.
“You’re but eighty-two,” grouses the cast-off Priscilla unavailingly.
You’re never too old to catch the big ones–as long as you THINK you are!
