I’m lost in a dream: my wife has me, but she also has another husband. He is totally dysfunctional, even in that department. One good thing is that we are all together in Paris.
I protest and argue. This is not legal! I feel forced to go along.
But, after a time, I do everything for them: shopping and cooking, even the back and forth, and with a smile! I realize that sharing my wife in Paris is not like sharing her in New Hampshire, where I went to sleep last night.
I have my fingers crossed I never wake up.
I usually run the other way if a story — especially a tiny story — includes a dream, but I stayed with this one and I’m glad I did. Sweet story.
