All things considered, the tarsier decided, life was pretty darn good. Philip’s huge eyes and ears could detect predators with unerring efficiency and his fur was soft and warm, but too small for the bleddy humans to come hunting.
The climate was excellent for lounging, and leaping across great distances with his long legs was a blast. Specialized finger and toe pads and nails made missing grip extremely unlikely.
Being able to do a one-eighty with his head never ceased to entertain him: especially when breeding. He liked small birds in particular…to eat, that is.
That snake was fast.
Always wondered what it would be like to be a snake. Now I know! Good job, Perry!
