Pine needles made a soft carpet as I trudged down the mountain path. Autumn leaves covered the slopes.
I tied my cardigan around my waist and slid over the slippery oak leaves. The roar of cascading water got closer.
Unluckily, I stepped into something soft and stinky!
Trying to wipe it off, I limped to the water, stood in the middle, and let the current do its job.
My shoe was almost clean when I spotted a few friends down the stream. I waved, then stopped, as I saw one of them cup her hands and bring water to her mouth!
Ewwwwww! Knowing my luck, that could have been me, further down the stream, haha! What a lovely, or maybe not so lovely story, Firdaus. Really made me smile, and maybe feel a little queasy ?. Very well written xx
I am innocent Helen! Truely. Haha. Thankx though. 🙂

A picturesque beginning paired with a hilarious ending (perhaps not so hilarious for the poor soul downstream!). A first-thing-in-the-morning treat for me!
Thankyou Phynne. Glad to put a smile on your face early in the morning. 🙂
