By Don Tassone
The boy squatted to get a good look at something shining in the grass. It was a silver dollar! He picked it up; he’d never held so much money in his hands.
He sprinted home to show it off.
His little sister asked, “Can I have it?”
Without knowing why, he handed it to her.
She jumped up and down, waved her hands wildly, and squealed with delight.
Now he’s a wealthy man. Anonymously, he has silver dollars delivered to kids in schools and hospitals.
In his mind, he sees their faces. He sees his sister’s face. And he is happy.
A heart-warming story; plain and simple…leaves you with a feeling of…well, happiness.
A beautiful story.
Wow… I love it… so touching
Lovely story.
