Natasha and I enter a South Korean pizza shop, and the owner asks me, “How feel two girls killed by U.S. military truck in June?”
I shake my head. “I’ve not heard much about it.”
“You think they wrong? Should be punished?”
“If they are found to be in the wrong, yes.”
She goes to the kitchen and returns. “I want you leave my shop!”
Natasha says, “But I’m not an American; can I still get pizza?”
“You, okay!”
“You, go!” Booted out for my nationality.
Outside, through the glass, I see Natasha smiling at the owner.
Enjoy your pizza, traitor!
Nice Work S.T.
Very appropriate for the times in which we live!
I enjoyed the dialogue. To the point and nice character voices.
