By Sabrina Zitzelberger
She looks at him, and she sees the future.
Not a distant future five decades from now, where they’re on a porch, swinging, with some grandkids running around.
No, the future she sees is five hours from now. After he’s already been under, on top of, and inside her.
The future where she’s discovered what his chest hair feels like. And what he looked like while being simultaneously nervous and confident.
A future where he’s seen all her scars and declared that they are part of her and therefore they are beautiful.
She looks at him and realizes: they already are.
Good perception of what love is, Sabrina.
Well done Sabrina! Love in a very raw form. Also coincidentally are you the Sabrina Zitzelberger I know? There can’t be too many around. lol I published today as well. If you are the Sabrina I know this is quite the coincidence! lol
I am indeed the one you know 🙂 What a small world!
Simply lovely.
Absolutely beautiful. So much said in so few words. I love it.
