By Christos Tsagkaris
He appeared early in the morning. He searched the library and asked me few questions. Then he thought for some minutes and started his speech.
“I firmly believe that Earth is the center of the universe.”
“Great,” I said, organising returned books.
“I beg your pardon?”
He didn’t wait for my reply. “I cannot imagine our world begging for light somewhere… Our knowledge originates from our world. To be on this planet is to explore or even change the universe.”
“Can you prove it?”
“Proof?” he murmured. “Give me a point and I’ll argue so as to move the planet back!”
Clever concept, well written.
Neat story. Everyone has an opinion and the right to argue about anything. Even to use said opinion and argument to prove the Earth is the center of the Universe. And who am I to say it isn’t so?
