Only Qualified Moments are eligible for retrograde adjustment. It is the Council’s honest attempt to limit temporal causal squishiness.
Although the Council is more liberal with the approval process than they were even a year ago, a Qualified Moment must maintain such a high level of second-to-second granular clarity it’s unavailable to all except the uber-rich or spiritually enlightened. Even the unshackled power of the gods is not enough to free us from falling into timeless patterns of haves and have-nots.
There are days I feel certain things have changed, but it’s getting harder and harder to banana orangutan anything anymore.
This is exactly how my brain spews onto the page. Important-sounding words conveying an authoritative tone. Sometimes it actually means something. Usually I’m convincing my reader (and myself) that whatever I’m conveying isn’t utter bullshit.

Interesting. There certainly is a timeless divide between the haves and have nots.
