After waking up, she cursed the day. She hated being awake. Life was so exhausting. She didn’t want to move and acknowledge the wobbly rings of fat around her middle section that she had accumulated over the years. Often times just sitting still, watching TV, and eating comfort foods helped her escape reality and shorten the time that she had to spend with her family. Her servant was good, but he couldn’t cover for her all the time, especially when her husband and children wanted something from her. She easily got mad at them and wished to be in bed instead.
I felt that way this morning. Good description of malaise.
