He cautiously took in the room: stark white windowless walls, lazyboy chair, table, and television. He disinterestedly scanned the magazines: girls with g-strings, fake boobs, and faker tans. Nothing stirred.
Instead, he found something adequate on the TV. Reluctantly he undid his jeans and lowered his boxer shorts. Rising to the occasion, he started the process, briefly forgetting the context. Just before he finished, he closed his eyes and thought of his wife.
Afterwards, jeans fastened, hands washed, and container gripped in his fist, he opened the door to his wife.
Their eyes instantly communicated, ‘Let this be the last time.’
Terrific story! Hope this does the trick for them.
It’s a good story and done in the best possible taste.
