I awoke feeling refreshed from a long, blank sleep, free from the nightmares. Instinctively, I reached for my smartphone, then remembered that there were no electronics here.
I surveyed my new surroundings. If this had been in my property portfolio, I’d have described it to clients as ‘bijou,’ but I no longer had clients. I needed rest apparently, and I agreed that a little meditation or yoga was overdue.
The door to my room opened and a large man appeared, flanked by two women in white.
“Time for your treatment and don’t try to fight us this time,” said Dr. Lowe.
interesting…good job
Loved the perspective and the ending twist!
