I had just sat down and turned on my laptop to begin working.
Three young people came to the upper library room.
The couple went to my left side of the table. And she, the one alone with a little scar beneath her right eye, picked the right side.
Then she looked me directly in the eyes. Odd. It lasted for sixty full seconds.
I gave up first.
I couldn’t get her out of my mind. Got up and touched her slightly as I passed between the floor lamps.
At the corridor, I waited. She came along.
Eyes closed, we kissed.
Superlative fun read.
I need that kiss, the chance, in my own life, such a kiss would occur.
Heartwarming and oh so nice! Loved it.
Beautiful and as concise as love should be!
