As minutes turn into hours, the sun slowly sets. The joints in your thumb ache as you endlessly scroll on the little box in your hand.
Your eyes feel the strain of its light. You’ll get a headache soon.
You know you should pick up your Chromebook, and replace one damaging light with another. You can wear the blue light glasses you bought for yourself. It won’t change anything.
Your thumb keeps on swiping, despite the assignments sitting in your folder, begging to be finished. The letters in your gradebook are expecting a decline.
Your eyes stay stuck to the screen.
Oh! Describes my evenings. Good job.
Unfortunately, very accurate. Good story!
