His friends decided to surprise Ben. They were a tightly knit group, so everything they did was predictable by now. They were wary of any slip-ups, and nothing was left to chance. Planning was followed with precise execution. Instinctively though, they knew that everything would be alright.
He opened the door the following evening to absolute astonishment, as his friends burst in, greeting him with gifts and a delectable cake on his birthday. As they were chomping down their food later, he added his newly clicked photos to a folder titled “Birthday Party Pics.”
He had created it two days ago.

It was simple,yet beautiful. When I read it, all of a sudden I realised that I should have seen the ending coming!That kind of story!
