Stu had reached the inevitable point in his marriage where he found himself asking, What the fuck is wrong with us?
He began searching for ways to rid himself of tension in his marriage. If he and Jean could just escape the angry buzz of New York City for an hour or two, they would find their way back to one another.
“I think we should go hiking this weekend,” he said to Jean over dinner one evening. “This guy at work told me about this thing called geocaching where…”
“I know what geocaching is,” Jean replied without looking up.
Great flash!
Thank you.
Good one, Tiffany. I think maybe a whole week of geocaching, rather than just a day or two, is needed here. 🙂
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Great slice of life into the foibles of a relationship. I think these two need some relationship counselling — soonest!
excellent! short, sharp and STRAIGHT to the point!
This totally captures a particular problem without any window dressing at all! Excellent, Tiffany.
loved it. simply written and not trying too hard to be literary. and it can be as deep as you want it to be…. that’s what i like best about it!
I agree with Scott. Very cleverly done.
