Your fingertips develop these calluses flicking through office papers, as if you’ve been to the gym, lifting weights… With your fingertips. Of course you only run the treadmill, at that perfect setting allowing you to neither sweat nor spin frantically, while some sitcom re-run eats your brain.
Today you flip through your boss’s congratulation cards. You only read those with some discrepant, non-standardized font. Still every card contains ‘Congratulations,’ ‘Lucky you,’ and the husband’s name.
Oh. Johnsson got the name wrong. You could shred the card, like the others, but you hand it on.
Someone is getting fired today. How exciting.
