“That’s a nice drawing,” she said when I returned. “Did you do that?”
“Yeah. Were you snooping?”
“No! I picked up that book and underneath…”
“Just kidding,” I said and told her about the course I had taken the previous spring. “Still have a way to go obviously, but I’m having fun trying.”
“It’s really good,” she said, picking up the sheet of paper for a closer look. “I like how she’s frowning. So intense.”
“I think that’s the first time I managed to capture some real flavor,” I said and wondered if I could convince her to pose for me.
Absolutely perfect! It made me laugh (a LOT). Then again, I have a weird sense of humour.
I enjoyed reading your short very much. It is succinct and intriquing. I hope there is more to come!
i picture everything; it would have more climax if the artist secretly revealed, the drawing was actually an abstract version of the girl.
