Black maggots filled the sink, paused in their impending takeover. The hollowness in her body was replaced with revulsion. She grabbed the newly purchased hairspray she’d left out, poised to blast the maggots. Realization dawned. She sighed. Her sink full of waterlogged chocolate cheerios stood, mocking her.
