A knock at The Door. The Man looks up from his work. He resists the urge to answer. He has work to finish. Important work.
Again…with the knocking!
Lumbering forward, he reaches out and The Door dissolves into nothingness. Left in its place a smooth, featureless wall.
The Man groans, “Not again.”
He returns to his work, but his eyes are drawn repeatedly to the door, which has reappeared.
How many times has this happened? He’s not sure. Not even of what day it is.
With much effort he draws his attention from The Door and back to his work.
Wow, it’s every writer’s nightmare! Good job, I loved this!
