I got chatting with a lobster one day. His girlfriend had left him and he was feeling lonely. I was lonely, too, and in need of a housemate.
It was fun at first. Faraday was full of tales of the sea. But it always came back to Lucy, his one true love. Boy, was I sick of hearing about Lucy!
Yesterday, I suggested a relaxing bath. Faraday stepped into my largest pan, droning on about Lucy, not even noticing the heat rising: stereotypical lobster.
I should have turned the heat down when he stopped talking.
But the lobster bisque was delicious.
Very funny
Wicked!
The “feels” for poor Faraday! Good one.
Cute story… I’ll remember not to drone on about past boyfriends!
Good story for past boyfriends who drone on and on about past girlfriends! Lol!!!
