“It happened in a flash. I was paying attention, officer. I always drive with just one hand. It’s comfortable. I’m a good driver, aside from those speeding tickets. The speed limit says twenty. But, no one drives that slowly. The road was slick. Regardless, I drive it daily and know all the bends and dips. I was thinking about an argument at work. The meeting hadn’t gone well and it made me mad. The phone buzzed. I reached for it just to check who was calling. Suddenly, a small pink dress ran into the street… There was a horrible, squishing thud…”
