
He strode out onto the cliff edge overlooking the empty, storming sea. The waves pulled back to rush at the cliff, throwing themselves as high up as they could just to try again. The spray rose high in the air, lightly raining back onto the bearded, kilted giant who stood watching in quiet tension high above. His coppery orange hair caught the glow of the sun as it slipped through the cloud cover before being swallowed up again. The rage of the sea suited him well. It was as so many nights before when he had dreamt of returning home again.
