“And how many lashes would Madam like? A pair? Only two?” A tick at the corner of his eye betrayed his bemusement. “Would that be leather, or leather with metal studs? To finish off the session, rose petals, or something else?”
“What?”
She took a step back to look at the sign again, this time noticing the small print. This was not what she thought it was.
She excused herself, nodding to the receptionist, and left, putting on her shades before stepping outside.
All she wanted were some new lashes for her eyes, not her skin or wherever those lashes landed.
Another unexpected ended. Great!
How clever…loved this!
Loved this. Thanks.
This was a delightful and surprising read – thank you!
