When the tide came, our footprints on the sandy beach eroded. However, I still recognized the shape of your toes, memorized the number of sand grains glued to the bottom of your heels, and how your hair flowed in the sea breeze.
They have become sand grains which were inhabited the deepest part of my mind. Even though our light-filled twilights on the beach are long gone, and the sand grains that salted your palm have returned to the ocean depths, I seclude here, waiting. I feverishly wait for the past sand grains to wash up in front of me again.
