A four-year-old boy, wearing clothes too small, sits on a chair fidgeting, clutching a paper sack of everything he owns.
With a mighty whoosh, a billowing cape fills the doorway. A superhero enters, and a woman shows him a child’s file, filled with documented betrayals and innocence lost.
Walking over to the boy, he kneels and promises, “I’m your dad now,” and he welcomes the boy into his arms with a kiss and hug.
“Let’s go meet your mom, son; she’s baking you cookies.”
This is how I dreamed of finding my mom and dad.
Turns out it wasn’t a dream.
A real sweet story—Thanks for the positive ending.
Thanks James… sometimes good things do happen.
