Her broken body lay on the ground, contorting in pain. Bones snapped as a drizzle fell on her overheated skin. Saliva dripped down her contorted mouth. Her frayed nerve endings overwhelmed her senses. A musty smell emanated from the drenched wood nearby. Critters skittered away as quickly as possible.
One mistake: trusting the wrong crowd. No memory of how it happened. The kind-hearted girl didn’t deserve this.
A moan slipped from her lips as claws ripped through her skin. A full moon peeked from behind the clouds as a howl ripped through the night. The girl was gone. A werewolf rose.
Nice twist in a well written story. Kudos.
