People stare at the two-headed woman as she saunters down the bustling street in two halves of a dress and two different shoes: one brown, one blue.
Tongues will click and eyes will roll at her clashing, intertwining hairstyles and mismatched green-grey eyes. But her two heads lean into each other and meet as a circle. One hand holds another, appearing clasped in front of her. As night falls and the streets empty, she finds herself in a private, shadowed alley, shielded from any remaining eyes.
Her two heads kiss each other with the gentle tenderness of two distinct, separate lovers.
This is really beautiful!
I agree. Beautiful and original.
Engagingly bizarre & weirdly poignant.
Wow. Really interesting and evocative. Poetic prose. Amazing. Have you considered an MFA program?
