He was a ventriloquist that talked to himself. Whenever in public, he could make it seem like the person next to him was the one talking. If you were going to be crazy and talk to yourself, it helped to be a ventriloquist.
He did this on the subway, the bus, and in the library.
“Please sir, keep it down.”
“I didn’t say anything.”
One day he met a woman who also talked to herself and was a ventriloquist. They spent all night having conversations that they didn’t have. When they kissed, it was always the other person that was kissing.
