The seaweed ripped awkwardly, hanging by a thread to the rest of the roll. I sighed and covertly dumped all my work. Fish, rice, avocado, cucumber; everything neatly wrapped and badly cut. I unfolded the elegant paper. It read, A sushi connoisseur recognizes talent. Good work. I threw it in the trash. No one noticed the lies about my experience, or that my only training was from watching YouTube videos.
