When I look at Lucy, I’m content. When her big brown eyes stare up at me and she tilts her tiny head, my face lights up like a Christmas tree.
When Lucy sleeps in her bed breathing calmly and surrounded by her toys, it’s precious. To hold her and snuggle is a joy in itself.
I never imagined I could feel such love for another.
When I hand Lucy her toy and she runs around the house excited because it’s her favorite stuffed animal over the others, I know what it’s like to be a mother.
A mother to my Shih-Tzu.
Sometimes a dog’s love is stronger than anybody’s and vice versa. Good read.
A nice, quiet little tale of love. Charming.
I totally understand what you are saying here. The reason I understand is I also get to feel the same things for our little Lucy every day.
