My friend Lily’s bedroom window overlooks a Victorian mansion, abandoned and left to rot. I find it creepy, but Lily is fascinated by the crumbling turrets and arches. She loves peering through the murky stained glass, hoping to spot something mysterious.
Lily insists that shadowy figures enter the mansion at dawn, yet oddly, none ever exit. Only cats sneak out of the cellar windows after dark.
“Sure, the door is locked, but no worries, I’ll crack this mystery!”
We laughed it off, or so I thought. But now I’m getting worried. It’s been days since Lily last picked up my calls.
Victorian mystery in our life, I like it, intriguing story, and, of course, cats!
Thank you Zoe! Of course, cats!
Well done
Thank you Mike!
