Such great reviews on opening night!
Rose, the leading lady, was very convincing as she acted out the dying scene at the end of the play. She twisted and squirmed on the stage; her eyes, wide and captivating, conveyed pain and bewilderment. The audience was mesmerized, and the curtain fell to a thunderous applause.
“Tonight will be hard to repeat,” thought Rose, as she struggled to stand still and smile for the photographers, who were lining up to capture the star on camera. “If only they knew that I owe my inspired performance to some prickly bug-like creature invading my undergarments!”
Nice twist in the tale! Brightened up my morning.
