Writer’s Block

I wrote to Persephone on the understanding she could procure certain items without asking questions.

I wished to acquire a story.

My preference was for arresting imagery and conflicting interpretation.  I asked that a blindfold be laid over the plot, although that is not to say juxtaposition of words or their interrogation are not important.  On the contrary, I made it very clear, they must tightly bind the subject to form and structure.

There were no witnesses or evidence of her handiwork.  As requested, the story was 101 words long and supplied to me unread, along with matches and some whitewash.
